Hmmmm.... this hurts a bit. 

We have a choice;

- We send in a note to the RFC editor, now or during 48-hours; that is
  if the WG consents on this issue.  (this is a security bug that was
  not covered earlier).

- We let the RFCs be published and write a small I-D that updates the
  documents. 


Whatever we do we have a problem of deployed code not knowing of
this. I currently think the first choice is more elegant.

Please spend some time on reviewing this issue and its solution, it is
important enough!
