Re: OPT == type 41?
Having a small "cachable" / "non cachable" ranges declared
in the type space would allow servers to know whether to
cache or not answers for RR type that it doesn't know within
these ranges. When the ranges are close to being filled
we can declare a new range in addition to the ones already
declared.
0 non-cachable.
1-40 cachable.
41 non-cachable.
42-127 cachable.
128-255 non-cachable.
256-65535 reserved.
As for OPT it can stay as an exception, as should 0.
