One snide comment from the peanut gallery and I'll go back to
my huge pile of mail (thanks, guys). These naming systems
in no way are exclusive. In an ideal nice-clean-simple world
we'd only have one system for everybody, but offering multiplicity
of choice of name schemes has its advantages. Everyone happy
with what they have now will probably continue to be happy,
and more expandable methods can pick up new users.
If I see too many more "The One TRUE Domain Name Scheme!" messages
I am likely to begin advocating making people use ethernet ID
numbers or something as punishment for their obstinance 8-)
