Problem with DNS

Hello,

I have domain name service installed on my site.
My Domain name Maser server is SS2 running SunOs 4.1.3_U.
My Domain name Slave server is HP running HPUX 9.03.
I also have at my site RS6000 running Aix3.2 SS2 running Solaris 2.3
Decstation running Ultrix4.3 and OSF1 version 2.0.
All of the other machines are resolver. I don't use the libresolv
to resolve an address since only 1 machine in our site is in the NIC database
the resolving of our internal addresses is done through the hosts file 
which is managed by the NIS.
Recently I installed 3 patches on our Domain name server (which is also 
our NIS master server).
100557-03 - ftp patch
100377-05 - sendmail Jumbo patch.
100342-03 - ypbind patch.

After the patch installing ping does not find ip-addresses of sites,
and do ping to them althought I can find this sites using nslookup
rlogin and telnet have the same problem.

I tried to go back to the state before the patch installation. But I still
have the problem.

Does anybody have any idea how to solve this problem.
