insight on mib I-D time in rfc-editor queue

hi,

i'm curious about experience mib I-D authors
out there have had on how long it takes to
navigate a mib draft through the rfc review
process.   what's your experience on how long
this process takes?

at one point, someone had told me to expect 2-3
months.   not sure how valid that timeframe is.

i'm sure the size of the mib draft is a factor,
so please give some general references to size
of mibs if possible along with your experience.

are there any insights into how to expedite
the process?   what kinds of impedances have
you encountered and how did you overcome them?
